Kurt Nakanishi is a feature film editor and colorist originally hailing from the great state of Maine. He attended Emerson College from 2010-2014 where he earned a B.A. in Visual Media Art. Since then, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his life-long dream: to become a feature film editor. In 2019, at the age of just 27, Kurt took on his first feature film edit with, "The Canyonlands," an indie horror film with sound mix by Sky Sound. In addition, Kurt has worked on some of the most popular contemporary scripted TV series.
